Castle Bromwich United as a club takes Child Welfare issues very seriously indeed.

All our Coaches and Volunteers in the club MUST be C.R.B checked before they are allowed to coach or interact with any of the kids within the club ....

THERE IS NO EXCEPTION TO THIS RULE

The club has a Child Welfare officer in place as per League and FA guidelines

Jason has been on Numerous Child welfare courses and has gained the necessary qualifications to actively partake in the role of Child Welfare officer.

Ian Grand the Club Chairman has also completed the same courses so he is able to cover the role if Jason is unavailable due to  work or Holiday commitments.

All the Children within the club can contact Jason with welfare issues whenever they feel they have to , they can approach Jason with any issue , even if they feel the issue is silly or they may feel embarrassed about it.Jason will treat in the first instance all reports from any of the children in the strictest of confidence .

In the same way all the children can contact Jason so can all parents or carers , if any parents or carers have any concerns they feel need to be bought to the attention of the club then they can also contact Jason on the details above , as with the Children all queries will be treated in confidence.

There are very very few issues that get raised with Welfare that cannot be sorted out by a simple chat or a bit of advice and a point in the right direction .... However there are two instances which if proven will not be tolerated by Castle Bromwich United and the end result if proven would be removal from the club of the offenders and this applies to both the kids and parents / carers alike , these two issues are

1. Racism

2. Bullying.

When each child joins the club both them and their parents/carers are given a copy of the clubs codes of conduct , these include a code for players and also a code for parents which both outline the club rules and expected behaviour of all players and parents/carers alike.

If you have not received a copy of these then please contact Jason or Ian and they will make sure you receive a copy.

MANAGERS / VOLUNTEERS

PLEASE READ

As a Club Castle Bromwich United pays all the costs incured during the C.R.B. Process , this applies to the first Four Volunteers per team (includes managers / Assts) , However if any teams take on any more than Four volunteers then any over the Four must be paid for out of that teams subs.

If any managers or volunteers require a c.r.b form then please contact me a.s.a.p and i will get the forms to you , the quicker the form is filled in and sent off the quicker the volunteer can start helping within the club.

All forms must be completed in block capitals and in black ink.
